Anna has a BA Theatre Studies from Rose Bruford and an MA in Education. She trained in Musical Theatre at GSA, where she was awarded the school's Choreography Award. Anna has achieved Qualified Teacher Status from the University of Gloucestershire, is a member of the ISTD and holds ATCL in Principles of Vocal Teaching. Anna is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and of the Higher Education Academy.
Anna has taught at Arts Educational School London, the BAC, working with companies including Kneehigh, Clod Ensemble, Fevered Sleep, Frantic Assembly, Blind Summit and the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Polka Theatre and other companies in Italy, Spain and Greece. Directing credits include productions
at the BAC, King's Head (Islington), Pleasance Theatre (Edinburgh) and Upstairs at the Gatehouse. As a writer of plays for children, Anna's plays are regularly performed throughout the UK and internationally.
Anna is currently researching her PhD in Actor Training with the University of Birmingham investigating Creative Learning and Teaching in the Conservatoire.
