Without Trace, created for V-TOL Dance Company by artistic director Mark Murphy, toured extensively in the UK and abroad. The piece, a fusion of movement, text, music and film, follows the story of a young woman who decides to go missing, and the affect that her actions have on the people she encounters and those that she has left behind. While touring, the company delivered an education programme for which the resource pack was devised. Written primarily for teachers, the pack provides an insight into the company's working practices, information on the creative process of Without Trace, and teaching ideas for devising and developing work. The set would be useful to teachers of GCSE, A Level and BTEC dance.
