![]() When you're ready
to write your final draft, think carefully about the
layout: are you
encouraged or allowed to include headings and
sub-headings? does your
use of headings and sub-headings reinforce the
meaning of the information or make it
confused? will
graphs, diagrams or pictures help to make your
meaning more clear? is it
appropriate to use direct or indirect quotations
from the sources you have used? have you
met the requirements for layout from your tutor or
department? are you
going to word-process your essay? have you
saved your word-processed files properly? (remember
to split up your work over a few files - it's
easier to manage a number of small files than one
huge one!) BE WARNED - all
too often students' PCs crash and their work
vanishes, usually the night before the deadline -
avoid this if you can! Keep your work on a MINIMUM
of two back-up diskettes. |
