Flat Information
The University has over 68 self-contained furnished flats and houses for students with dependants. Family accommodation is located in the Courts of Residence on Stag Hill Campus, at Manor Park and at Hazel Farm. The University also owns several cottages on farmland in and around Guildford which can be let to families.
Please note that the rent quoted includes full council tax; if you or your partner is a student, you will qualify for a reduced rate of council tax.
Studio Flats
Studios with combined living/sleeping/kitchen area and a shower room. These flats are usually compact, typically about 20 square metres, excluding the shower room. There are 2 studio flats only on Stag Hill Campus, and 40 at Manor Park.
Studio flats are let to couples. Families with children will only be eligible for one or two-bedroom flats or houses.

One-Bedroom Flats
Our one bedroom flats are fully furnished and have a double bedroom, a combined living room and kitchen and bath or shower room. They are suitable for couples without children, although a few one-bedroom flats have a study and are suitable for families with one small child up to 3 years old. Located on Stag Hill Campus or at Manor Park and typically about 25 square metres excluding the shower room.

Three-Bedroom Town Houses
Our town houses are three storey and have three bedrooms including one with ensuite shower, a kitchen/dining room, living room and study. They are furnished and have a cooker and fridge freezer. The town houses are suitable for families of up to five.

General Information
Residents are responsible for all cleaning, including cleaning at the end of the tenancy. The flats are furnished and include a refrigerator, cooker, microwave and electric kettle. Residents have to provide their own bed linen, towels, kitchen utensils and crockery.
Flats on Stag Hill Campus are surrounded by student housing and can be noisy. If you are sensitive to noise we advise you that Stag Hill Campus flats are unlikely to be suitable for you.
The University has a nursery, located close to Manor Park, available to students and staff.

A pre-payment of £200 is required to secure a flat. This will only be charged when an offer is accepted. After moving in the pre-payment will be credited towards your invoice.
