Applying For Houses

What is the password for StudentPad?

The password changes every year, and will be emailed to all students around the 1st February.

After this time, to get the password please email a request with your full name and University number to pms@surrey.ac.uk

If I can't find a room or house, what should I do?

Please visit the student pad website on www.surreystudentpad.co.uk . All Property Managed Houses will be advertised on StudentPad from Monday 6th February 2012 and private sector properties are advertised from Monday 13th February 2012. If you are still having difficulties finding accommodation, visit the Accommodation Office for further advice. StudentPad is password protected, please email the Accommodation Office on pms@surrey.ac.uk supplying your name and student number and you will be emailed the password.

After Moving In

What should I do if Emergency Repairs are needed?

For ALL Emergency repairs, please contact the Accommodation Office on (01483) 689146 during office hours, or Security on 01483682002 at all other times, as soon as you can.

What should I do if there is a non-emergency repair?

For any minor repairs please send an email to: pms@surrey.ac.uk

Please remember to include the address of your house, your name and student number, and a contact phone number.

What if I want to leave my property early?

All contracts are for around 50 weeks. If you wish to leave early you will need to find a University of Surrey student to replace you in the property. In exceptional circumstances we may be able to help you end your contact earlier, please contact the Accommodation Office for more information.
