Belongings Insurance
All residents in Accommodation managed by the University have belongings insurance included in their rent with no additional charge. The policy covers students and families in the Courts, students in Property Managed Houses and staff living in family flats or single staff rooms.
The insurance policy is with Endsleigh Insurance, who are the UK's most experienced provider of insurance for students.
The sum insured is £4000 for personal belongings and £2000 for a PC or laptop.
We strongly recommend that you check this insurance policy carefully to make sure it meets your needs. The policy has several 'exclusions' (things it does not cover) for example: mobile phones, bicycles, contact lenses and documents.
