This season Film studies present a series of recent animation features that demonstrate animation certainly isn't just for kids! This spring season runs alongside the new animation modules being taught on the Film studies degree programme.

Director Ali Folman demonstrates the evocative potential of animation in Waltz with Bashir, the film that turned 'animated documentary' into a mainstream form. Waltz with Bashir uses a striking style of digital cut-out animation, combined with a vibrant a seductive soundtrack, to explore forgotten experiences of the 1982 Lebanon War.
