A thought improvisation based on 'Offending the Audience', by Peter Handke, with live music improvisation from Creative Music Technology students and generative video by Sebastian Melo.

To trial a new software developed by the Computing Department we are devising a novel adaptation of the theatrical piece by Handke, which will be played out via the Mindbeats software, and which will be accompanied by Creative Music Technology Students and generative video from Sebastian Melo.

Audience members will participate in this theatrical and musical experiment via the software where they will interact with other audience members and five players that will be participating remotely. An adaptation of the original text will be gradually released via Mindbeat throughout the three days of the installation. As the text is gradually fed onto the site, audience members will be able to intervene on the text by adding or commenting on it, and engage in the self-reflexive ideation of the original play by themselves questioning, commenting and self-deprecation their own role as audience members.
