Until 28th October. Professor Lewis and Mary Elton donated a private collection of artworks to the University of Surrey in 2011. In January 2012 it was exhibited at the Lightbox, Woking.
There is now the opportunity to see it at South Hill Park. The collection includes paper-based works by Picasso, Chagall, Klee and Cocteau as well as a selection of paintings and sculpture. As an accompaniment to the exhibition, art lecturer Melanie Paice will be giving a talk at South Hill Park on a selection of the masters featured, as well as exploring the collection’s creation.
