Ion Beam Facilities
The Ion Beam Centre houses three accelerators for Ion Beam Analysis, Ion Beam Modification and Bio-Irradiation purposes.
The IBC is a national facility available for UK researchers to apply for time through EPSRC grant applications.If you are interested in getting access through this route. Please contact Dr Chris Jeynes to discuss this.
Access is also freely available to European researchers and industry via the FP7 Integrated Infrastructure Initiative grant SPIRIT. Access can be obtain to anyone within Europe (but outside the UK) within a few weeks via an application form on the SPIRIT web site. Please contact Dr Chris Jeynes to discuss this.
Access is also available on a commercial basis. This can provide almost instant access. Please talk to Prof Russell Gwilliam for more information and a quotation.
