Welcome Vladimir Bobroff

The Ion Beam Centre is pleased to welcome Mr Vladimir Bobroff from the University Clermont-Ferrand. Vladimir is in the final year of a masters degree in Engineering Physics. While at the Ion Beam Centre he will undertake a 3 month project, working with Mike Merchant and Charlie Jeynes. Vladimir's project is to develop a single ion hit detection system for heavy ions (Z > 4) in the end-chamber of the Vertical Nanobeam, for the irradiation of living cells in medium.
