"Schrodingers Cat in a Silicon Chip"
Professor Ben Murdin and Professor Jim Al-Khalili will be representing the University of Surrey. Their work on the COMPASSS grant has shown how atoms trapped in a silicon crystal can be put in a quantum superposition of both oscillating and not oscillating at the same time, taking us a step closer to quantum computing.
