Royal Society International Exchange Award to Dr Ginossar and Dr Grosfeld (BGU)

Dr Eran Ginossar from the ATI and Dr Eytan Grosfeld from the Ben-Gurion University in Israel were awarded a Royal Society International Exchange Scheme grant for their proposed project Topological superonductors in circuit quantum electrodynamics devices. They will investigate theoretically the benefits of designing quantum computing devices (qubits) which integrate topological insulator nanowires with superconducting qubit devices.

Researchers from Yale, Surrey, and Paris have made an important breakthrough towards ‘quantum information processing’, which promises to lead to massive information technology advances in the future.
