Photonics Team win the Al-Khalili Challenge

On Wednesday, 9 May 2012, ten Physics Department football teams took part in the Al-Khalili Challenge Plate at the Surrey Sports Park.
Despite the weather conditions all games were played and there were only a few injuries. This year's final was between the Photonics Team and the Hamiltonian Academics.
The winners were the Photonics Team, who are pictured here with the Challenge Plate! Congratulations to Konstanze Hild, Ben Crutchley, Sayid Sayid, Jayanta Mukherjee, Nadir Hossain, Igor Marko, Somporn Buaprathoom and Steve Clowes.
