What do Surrey Graduates do?

The Careers Service conducts a survey of the Surrey graduate force every year in order to find out what they are doing. Please see below for lists for recent years. Courses are listed in alphabetical order by course name. Undergraduate and postgraduate data is shown separately.

The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) defines the nature and scope of the data required. Full-time UK and EU domiciled students are included but international students are excluded. Prior to 2003 part-time students were excluded. The survey covers those who completed their qualifications between 1 August and 31 July and reflects what they were doing approximately six months after they completed their course.

Salaries are included where we were able to obtain information from three or more graduates from any specific degree, who were employed in the United Kingdom.

On completion of the surveys, the destinations of approximately 80% of first degree students are known.

Abbreviations used in the text: FT - non-sandwich, SW - sandwich course and FY - Foundation Year.
