GUIDANCE APPOINTMENTS

Guidance appointments offer you the opportunity to discuss your specific plans or career issues in complete confidence. Appointments are for up to an hour and can cover CV advice, practice interview or guidance if you are undecided as to your future direction. You can meet with Ann as many times as you choose.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS

These workshops are available to research staff through the Research Development Programme website.

• Half day sessions, which explore topics in-depth
• A full day covering 4 shortened workshops (Job Hunting Day)

Topics covered include:

• Careers Inside and Outside Academia
• Successful CVs and Applications
• Improve Your Interview Skills
• Successful Networking for Job Hunting
• Choosing the Right Career (using the MBTI Psychometric Test)
