Research Activity
Research activity in CCSR takes place largely through our PhD programmes where the centre has over 90 doctoral candidates at a time including some on a part time programme, which supports stronger links with industry.
A wide range of research facilities enable the opportunity for both short term and long term projects in CCSR. This may simply involve rental of our in house facilities with accompanying personnel such as our anechoic chamber and wideband channel sounder through to fully commercial research projects, which are delivered as a combination of our in house expertise and unique facilities we own.
Many of these research facilities have been a product of our research projects, where CCSR is a major player in the European 7th Framework IST programme.
