PebblePad Support

To read more about PebblePad and how it is being used please visit the PebblePad Page under the Technologies for Learning area of our website.

Getting Started

PebblePad is available to all staff and students, on and off campus, using their standard university login and can be accessed at http://pebblepad.surrey.ac.uk. The 01 PebblePad: Introduction guide provides more information.

The workshop Promoting student-centred learning using PebblePad (EL05) provides an introduction to what PebblePad offers and a chance to explore ways it can be used to support learning and teaching. PebblePad provides a structured platform to plan, synthesise thoughts, collect evidence and reflect on learning and development. It offers a number of adaptable tools such as action plans, blogs and webfolios that allow users to present material for review, collaboration or assessment. It can be used to support and potentially assess a wide range of activities such as individual or group projects, personal development planning or work placements.

Topics covered include:

  • The key features and benefits PebblePad offers
  • Exploring examples of how it has been used in various contexts
  • Gaining hands-on experience of key PebblePad tools
  • Practical guidance on using PebblePad to support learning
  • A brief overview of some advanced functionality and uses

Upcoming workshops are shown on our Technology-related workshop page
