Paul Sheffield graduated in 1983 with BSc in Civil Engineering.  Paul took a professional training year as part of his course and worked for Gillis Mason (Contractor) in South Africa.   He joined Kier International in 1983 and for his first year was  posted to Abu Dhabi.  He became Managing Director of Kier Construction in 2003.

Paul has previously been involved with the First Year Bridge Building Competition which is sponsored by Kier.

His personal tutor noted when he graduated that Paul "has the makings of a first class engineer" - he was right!
