Academic in Civil Engineering is awarded the 'fib Achievement Award for Young Engineers 2011'
Congratulations to Dr Juan Sagaseta who has been awarded the Federation Internationale du Beton (fib) Achievement Award for Young Engineers 2011 (research category) which is one of the mostly recognised internationally organisations for structural concrete.
This award is given every two years and it is based on scientific and technical contributions in the area of structural concrete from the PhD thesis. Dr Sagaseta's application was put forward by UK fib National Group and the award will be given in fib Symposium in Prague next month.
