Wednesday 9 February 2011

The University of Surrey, through Robens Centre for Public and Environmental Health (RCPEH) and Centre for Environmental and Health Engineering (CEHE), has successfully been redesignated as a World Health Organisation (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Protection of Water Quality & Human Health. This comes into effect from 8th Feb 2011 and runs for 4 years.

It is worth noting that together with the Drinking water Inspectorate, the University of Surrey is one of two UK institutions designated as collaborative centres by WHO in the water sector. Around the world, we are one of 10 CC in the water and sanitation sector.
