CEO of the Kier Group judges student bridge design competition

On 12 December 2011 Civil Engineering hosted a visit from Paul Sheffield, Chief Executive Office for the Kier Group.
Paul is a Civil Engineering alumnus from 1983. During the day, Paul helped in the testing and judging of the Level 1 Cardboard Bridge Building Contest and presented the winning teams with the prizes – Kier have sponsored the contest for over 10 years. Paul also gave a key note address to the staff and students of Civil Engineering and invited alumni on his career “Professional Training to CEO”.

2nd Prize, BENJAMIN CHASE and JONATHAN DE MAYA NORRIS
3rd Prize, KIAN PIRASTEH and NAVAMON UDYANIN
