Civil Undergraduate student receives Award for Technical Excellence

Congratulations to Richard Lipscombe who's technical paper titled ‘The Use of Shape Accel Arrays for Measuring Retaining Wall Deflection’ was submitted into the Crossrail Technical papers Competition and won!
In 2012 with help from some colleagues, Richard wrote a technical paper titled ‘The Use of Shape Accel Arrays for Measuring Retaining Wall Deflection’, which was based on one of the key projects he had been working on. The winning paper was recently presented at an awards ceremony at the Crossrail headquarters pictured below.
