Arts

We run a comprehensive arts programme every year featuring a range of artistic, dramatic, and musical productions, performances, concerts and exhibitions.  The programme also features classes and workshops in everything ranging from language learning to creative writing and crafts.

In addition to providing facilities for our School of Arts and Guildford School of Acting (GSA), the new £4.5 million Ivy Arts Centre is also available for community use and puts another top class venue on Guildford’s cultural map.

Sport

Surrey Sports Park, which opened in 2010, provides state-of-the-art leisure and fitness facilities, not only for students and staff, but also for the wider community.  It welcomes everyone from grassroots athletes to elite teams.  It also works with local schools to encourage young people’s awareness of sport and fitness and plays host to the Surrey Youth Games.

Events

We run a regular programme of public events throughout the year including lectures, a full arts programme and an annual fireworks display and carol concert.
