Universities make a huge contribution to the life and success of the nation through their research programmes.

Increasingly, there is an emphasis on the importance of communicating with the public on the nature and outcome of this research. We are committed to sharing our knowledge, resources and skills in this area with the public, and to listening and learning from the expertise and insight of the different communities with which we engage.

We are developing a Public Engagement strategy to enable us to make further progress.
