University receives EU Research Excellence Award

The University is pleased to announce that it has successfully achieved the prestigious European Commission HR Excellence in Research Award.
A distinguished panel of judges presented the honour to the University after viewing Surrey’s comprehensive Concordat implementation plan – a strategy designed to support researcher career development.
Professor Steve Williamson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation commented: “This award is a great achievement for the University and acts as a symbol of our commitment to the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for their Recruitment.
“More importantly it is a testament to our dedication to developing the potential of our University researchers.”
