Surrey researcher wins Moulton Medal

A researcher from the Centre of Environmental Strategy has been awarded a ‘best paper’ prize by the Institute of Chemical Engineering.
Dr Jhuma Sadhukhan from the University of Surrey and Dr Kok Siew Ng from the University of Manchester wrote the award winning paper entitled "Heat integration and analysis of decarbonised IGCC sites".
The paper was co-authored with Ms Y Lopez and Dr G M Campbell and published in "Chemical Engineering Research and Design", February 2010.
The Junior Winner Moulton Medal 2011 is awarded to the authors of the best paper by a member under 40 published by the Institute of Chemical Engineering during the year.
The prize is named after Lord Moulton who is associated with the development of chemical engineering during the 1914-18 war when he took charge of explosives supply.
