Surrey Business School at the University has launched a new research centre focusing on entrepreneurship and small business.
The Centre for Advanced Research in Entrepreneurship (CARE) brings together internationally recognised researchers with the vibrant entrepreneurial community in Surrey. The University has a strong reputation for its entrepreneurial approach, launching Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (a company at the forefront of small satellite design and build), founding the Surrey Research Park and supporting student entrepreneurship.
CAREs research expertise is diverse and its membership includes internationally recognised academics and entrepreneurs. The Centre held its inaugural meeting on 29 February and will be running a number of events over the coming year, showcasing research projects and offering expertise from entrepreneurs.
