Student receives physics award

A Surrey student has received a prize from the Institute of Physics at the 25th biennial meeting of the Polymer Physics Group.

Ross Maspero, currently enrolled on the MPhys course, won third place in an exhibition for his poster entitled "Confocal Dynamic Light Scattering".

The poster contained the initial results of Ross's MPhys research project which he is currently working on Clausthal University of Technology in Germany.

The meeting was attending by more than 80 delegates from eight countries.
