Biography
Short Biography: Damiete has a BSc. in Zoology and MSc. in Corporate Environmental Management (with distinction) obtained at CES. Her dissertation investigated the impact of ISO 140001 on environmental performance; a case study of the UK oil industry. Damiete joined CES in January 2008 as a research fellow, working on the TSEC-Bio sys project. Prior to joining CES she had worked with the Halcrow Group, Environmental Agency and Business in the Community (BITC).
Research Interests
Damiete is currently working on theme 3 of the TSEC-Bio sys project which aims to develop and test a sustainability framework based on multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA). Her research is focused on developing and applying a novel problem structuring approach to sustainability analysis of bio energy supply chains. She is also working on a PhD that seeks to investigate the development of value chains for the bioenergy heat market.
