Two PhD students receive Santander Award

Hannah Farnfield and Gillian Lord have received an award from Banco Santander.
Banco Santander sponsor a range of international activities at the University of Surrey, and Hannah and Gillian (both students of Prof. Ward) have been awarded £1000 each to cover their field-trips to Argentina in January 2012. They will be collecting water, plant and human samples for their research and for the Water for Life schools project.
