The Clinical Team

The clinical team is made up of professional and experienced research nurses and doctors working together to give 24 hour medical cover to the unit. In addition to the permanent staff, we also have a bank of nurses and doctors to assist us at busier times. The nursing team is comprised of experienced practitioners and researchers, including some specialists in surgical and respiratory medicine.

All clinical staff receive Basic Life and Defibrillation training and Anaphylaxis training every six months. They are therefore regularly updated on the latest guidelines for emergency procedures.
