Facilities
To support our programmes we have an extensive set of facilities. In addition to the University-wide teaching rooms, study areas and library, we provide our own dedicated common rooms and computing labs supported by a wireless network and high bandwidth Internet.
Study Areas
The Faculty has two common rooms available for students to use 24 hours of the day (06 AA 02 and for quiet study 30 BB 04). You can also book rooms for group or individual work in SPLASH.
Labs
The University has six open access PC labs available 24 hours a day, when not being used for classes. There are also seven other labs available across campus. These run typical desktop and word processing software on Microsoft Windows to support your studies, plus dedicated software for teaching, including programming languages.

Within the Faculty we run four dedicated specialist labs, again available 24 hours a day, when not being used for classes. These run specific software, such as Matlab, on Linux (Fedora), but can also be used for Windows applications.
Software
If you have your own PC, then you can take advantage of our wireless network and free software that is available to you during your studies. This includes software available via Microsoft's MSDN and IBM's academic services. We also have a range of other software that is free.
