Department's 8th PhD Student Conference

The Department has pleasure in announcing the date and venue for the 8th Annual PhD Student Conference which will be taking place this year on Wednesday 30 March 2011 at Treetops/Cedar Room, Wates House

There will be a Panel of Experts judging the presentations and the posters.
We would expect students who have been registered since April 2009, October 2009 and January 2010 to give a presentation at the conference. Each presentation has a 15 minute time-slot, which includes an opportunity for the Panel or members of the audience to ask questions.
Students registered from July 2010 and October 2010 would be expected to submit a Poster. The best MSc Posters are also included in this competition.
Prizes are awarded for both the best presentations and the best posters. Lunch and refreshments will be served.
