The Department of Computing is holding her 2nd Annual Winter Olympics on Thursday, 2nd February 2012 on the back of the 1st Olympics, which was a resounding success. This year’s event will take place at the Surrey Sports Park, where registration will kick off from 11:30am, with the sporting events beginning at 12:00 noon and culminating at 4:30pm. This will then give way to a buffet, and the awards ceremony with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Professor Jonathan Seville in attendance.

This year, in addition to Badminton, Squash, Football and Fun Games, the department is also offering Table Tennis and Basketball. We have a total of 86 registered participants, from Staff, PhD, Masters and 3rd Level BSc students.
