The first assignment for the Department's Usability Engineering module is used to select students who will be offered the opportunity to take part in IBM's ThinkPad Challenge. A prize of £50 per person is awarded, donated by IBM Hursley, for the best group project with the winning group then being able to enter the IBM Thinkpad Challenge.
