MSc student paper accepted for journal publication

Zhao Xi, a student in Computing who is just completing his MSc, has gained a double achievement by having a recently accepted conference paper from his MSc dissertation work also accepted for a journal special issue of Circuits, Systems and Signal Processing (CSSP).
Zhao Xi's paper "A Novel Semi-Fragile Image Watermarking, Authentication and Self-restoration Technique Using the Slant Transform", co-authored with Anthony T.S. Ho, Helen Treharne, Vinod Pankajakshan, Chris Culnane, and Weina Jiang, has been accepted for the Third International Conference on Intelligent Information Hiding and Multimedia Signal Processing.
An expanded version of the paper has been accepted for the special issue on Digital Watermarking and Multimedia Security for the journal Circuits, Systems and Signal Processing (CSSP).
Zhao Xi will start his PhD with the Department in October.
