PhD student invited to prestigious Computer Science seminar

David Lundin, a first year PhD student in the Department, has been invited to attend the prestigious Frontiers of Electronic Voting seminar being held at Schloss Dagstuhl in Germany.

The aim of the seminar is to discuss different aspects of the increasingly popular e-voting technologies, including cryptography, high assurance and accuracy. David is part of the eVoting team in the Department, which recently gained overall second place at the University Voting System Competition (VoComp) for their Prêt-à-Voter system in collaboration with University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, whilst winning the best system design category.
