Staff away day discusses strengthening our provision

As part of the process of maintaining our focus on degree programmes and research, the Department recently spent a day away from the rigours of e-mail and telephones to discuss how we can continue to maintain our degree programme strength and foster research collaboration.
The Departmental away day was held at the Barnett Hill conference centre in the picturesque Surrey Hills. Discussed throughout the day were topics ranging from the main strengths of our research, how we can develop further our Computer Science undergraduate programme, and how we can improve the overall student experience.
