Neil Newbold was awarded a prize for an extended abstract he wrote as part of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences Graduate School Conference on the 1st June 2009. Neil’s abstract was titled "Readability within Video Retrieval Applications: A Study on CCTV Analysis" and was completed in collaboration with his supervisor, Dr Lee Gillam.
