The University has recently been awarded over £800,000 for a project on Models and Mathematics in Life and Social Sciences (MILES). The project, which will run from 2010 to 2013, is joint with the Departments of Sociology, Mathematics, Computing and Biological Sciences. In Computing, the project is being led by Professor Paul Krause.
