We are pleased to welcome Professor Yaochu Jin into the Department of Computing, as our new Professor of Computational Intelligence. Yaochu has joined us from the European Honda Research Institute in Germany, where he was Principal Scientist. His interests include evolutionary and learning approaches to complex systems design, and computational systems biology. He will be leading the Computational Intelligence research activity in the Department, and is keen to build research collaborations within the Department and across the Faculty.
