Dr George Schaathun will be leaving the Department at the end of this semester to take up a new teaching position at Ålesund University College from January 2011.  George will be returning to Norway for personal and family reasons

George joined the Department in February 2006 and has contributed immensely to the Department’s success in the past few years. A major role as Director of MSc Studies required him to put in a significant amount of effort and he managed the three programmes extremely well.

His enthusiasm and contribution to the Department will be missed.  We wish him every success for the future.
