Dr Hongying Lilian Tang received funding for a project on surgical instrument video tracking. This is in addition to her recent success on another similar size KTA project on diabetic retinopathy image analysis.

Professor Yaochu Jin received one year funding for a project on the optimisation of CFRP Stiffened Panels of Aircrafts with Aero Optimal.
