Congratulations to Jonathan Goh on successful completion of his PhD

Monday 8 August 2011

We are delighted to announce that Jonathan Goh successfully defended his PhD thesis last Thursday. The examiners are recommending the award of PhD subject to very minor corrections.

The external examiner was Professor Rudolf Hanka from University of Cambridge, and the internal was Dr Bogdan Vrusias.   Jonathan's supervisor, Dr Hongying Lilian Tang, is grateful to both of them for their time and efforts in examining this thesis.

Many congratulations to Jonathan. Alongside his PhD, Jonathan has been working as a research assistant since August 2010 on the Daphne project (diabetic retinopathy screening of normal images) funded by EPSRC KTA for 18 months until May 2012. This project is taking forward his PhD work which has generated lots of interest in the clinical world.

Well done Jonathan!
