Prof Yaochu Jin elected as AdCom Member of IEEE CIS

Prof. Yaochu Jin was elected as a member of the Administrative Commitee (AdCom) of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (IEEE CIS) to serve for the term of 2012-2014. In the 2011 society-wide AdCom election, five AdCom members were elected, and the other four elected members are Prof. Cesare Alippi, Prof. Pau-Choo (Julia) Chung, Prof. James Keller, and Prof. Jacek Zurada.

According to the IEEE CIS Constitution, the Administrative Committee is established to govern and administer the Society. The AdCom defines the strategies and policies to manage the Society and realize the societal purpose, monitors the Society's activities, and evaluates the outcomes.
