Our former PhD student, David Williams, was selected as one of the two UK nominations for the Thales PhD Prize 2012. From 2007 to 2011, David was doing his PhD study at the Computing Department, in collaboration with Thales Research & Technology (UK) Ltd. His research focus was theoretical modeling, methodology and applications of formal methods on the security verification and validation of digital watermarking systems for multimedia content.
