Consult Hyperion, a leader in digital money and digital identity based in Guildford, Surrey and a collaborative partner of the Department of Computing, has won Toast of Surrey Business Awards 2012, in the category of businesses with a turnover of up to £5 million. Over the years, the company has generously supported the Department's activities by sponsoring industrial placement students and PhD projects. The close partnership is further forged with Gloria Benson, a Director in Consult Hyperion, serving as the Chair of the Department's Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) which provides valuable industrial advice and guidance to the Department.
