We are very pleased to announce that Neil Newbold successfully passed his PhD on 3rd October, subject to completion of minor corrections and subsequent processes. His thesis was focused on New Approaches for Text Readability. Valuable contributions were identified by both external examiner, Dr Roger Evans, Reader in Computer Science, School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Brighton, and internal examiner, Dr Andre Gruning. His supervisors were Dr Lee Gillam and Dr Bogdan Vrusias.
