Surrey Computing PhD Student Awarded Bursary to Attend BCTCS 2013

Diana Cionca, a PhD student studying at the Department, has been awarded a bursary to attend the British Colloquium in Theoretical Computer Science (BCTCS) 2013 in Bath, from 24-27 March. BCTCS is a well attended event for theoretical computer scientists and PhD students across the UK and there were 25 bursaries available this year. Diana is also offered an option of giving a talk at the Colloquium on her research on analysing the dependencies between different pathways of complex systems. Diana is supervised by Dr Sotiris Moschoyiannis of the Department and Dr Angela Druckman of the Centre for Environmental Strategy.
